Thermal vs bond paper rolls: which one do you need?

Thermal rolls
Thermal rolls have a smooth, slightly glossy coating. Heat from the printer head reacts with that coating to print your receipt no ink or ribbon required. It’s quick, clean, and gives you sharp, long-lasting print, which is why most modern EFTPOS terminals and POS printers run on thermal paper.

Bond (non-thermal) rolls
Bond paper rolls have a flat, uncoated surface and need an ink ribbon to print. They come in 1, 2 or 3-ply and are still the right pick for older till systems and multi-part dockets.

What are BPA-free till rolls?
BPA-free till rolls are thermal receipt rolls made without Bisphenol A. They print just as clearly and work in any standard thermal printer, with less chemical exposure for your staff and customers.
